With the Maypole Festival, we kick off the new spa concert season. While you enjoy cold drinks and delicious food during the early shopping hours, you will be accompanied by the "Geißlitztaler Musikanten e.V." The orchestra has been in existence since 1968, originally founded as the youth brass band Pulsen. In 1992, it evolved into the Geißlitztaler Musikanten e.V. By now, the Geißlitztaler Musikanten have become a popular and sought-after brass band in the district of Meißen. Their extensive repertoire allows for a variety of performances for different occasions. It includes traditional brass music, sophisticated concert music, and entertainment music. The musical repertoire is continuously expanded under the direction of Jörg Rietdorf.
